Responsibilities of the Department of Infrastructure (or DoI) include air and sea port facilities, mapping, waste management, properties and asset management, coastguard search and rescue, the provision of quarries and raw materials to support infrastructure development and the construction industry, and highways maintenance and improvement works.

The Department owns and manages the seabed around the Island, and coordinates the Isle of Man Territorial Seas Committee.

DoI are members of the Working Group, representing Spatial Planning, Seabed, and Marine Infrastructure Management.
