The Ecosystem Policy Team’s responsibilities, as well as the Manx Blue Carbon Project, include:
- Preserving the Island’s essential and incredible biodiversity
- UNESCO Biosphere Isle of Man
- Reducing single use plastics
The team sits within the Environment Directorate of the Department of the Environment, Food, and Agriculture.
As hosts of the Manx Blue Carbon Project, the Ecosystem Policy Team is a key member of the Working Group, Research Group, and Steering Group.
